FAA Proposes $87,000 Fine Against Comfylife, LLC for Alleged Violation of Hazardous Materials Regulations

WASHINGTON — The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) proposes a $87,000 civil penalty against Comfylife, LLC of Cherry Hill, New Jersey, for allegedly violating U.S. Department of Transportation hazardous materials regulations.
The FAA alleges that between November 2025 and April 2026, Comfylife offered numerous shipments of various products for transportation by air that contained flammable and non-flammable aerosols, flammable liquid adhesive, flammable liquid paint, and lithium-ion batteries. Each is classified as a hazardous material.
The FAA alleges the shipments were not accompanied by the required hazardous materials transportation documentation, and the materials were not properly classed, described, packaged, marked, labeled, or in the proper condition for shipment.
Comfylife has 30 days after receiving the FAA’s notice to respond to the agency.
